37 officers promoted as SP DGP congratulates officers, conveys thanks to JK Administration Says promotion leads to more responsibility

Jammu, 26 November: Conveying his warm thanks to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor J&K, Shri Manoj Sinha and his administration, the Director General of Police J&K Shri Dilbag Singh has congratulated 37 officers for their regularization/promotion as Superintendents of Police.

Expressing his happiness on the promotion of officers, the DGP congratulated the officers and their families. In his message, he said that promotions to the higher rank leads to more responsibilities adding that he hopes that the officers will work more professionally and dedicatedly to achieve the organizational goals especially towards safety and security of the people. He wished them good luck in their future endeavours.

The DGP conveyed his warm thanks to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor J&K Shri Manoj Sinha, Advisor (B) Shri R R Bhatnagar, Chief Secretary J&K Dr A. K. Mehta, Financial Commissioner (ACS) J&K Shri R K Goyal and other officers of the UT Government for sanctioning the order of promotion.

Pertinent to mention here that Home Department vide an order issued today has sanctioned the regularization/promotion of 37 Deputy Superintendent of Police/ I/c Superintendent of Police as Superintendent of Police Level-11 in the pay matrix.
