Jammu, January 01: IGP Headquarters, PHQ Shir Anand Jain-IPS today readout the DGP’s New Year message 2019 in a meeting held at Police headquarters here today. The meeting was attended by all the senior officers and staff members of all sections of PHQ.

Director SSG, Shri Surinder Gupta during an interaction held with the officers/officials of SSG at Unit Jammu readout the New Year Message.

It was stressed upon all the officers/officials to perform their duties with dedication and exhibit high sense of responsibilities, as the SSG Protectees shall make visits/tours in the far-flung areas of J&K particularly in Kashmir Valley. The officers in particular were stressed to achieve all the set targets within the resources and ensure fail-proof security at all the venues/out-functions especially during impending elections, keeping in view the prevailing situation.

It was also emphasized upon all the officers/officials to work with professionalism and maintain high quality of discipline as exhibited by you during the previous year. It was further stressed upon officers/officials to discharge their legitimate duties and remain ready to shoulder any responsibility during the ensuing elections.

During the current year we may resolve to continue the work we have been doing in the field of providing security to the PPS with vigor and vitality. We have firmly decided to come-up with the expectations of worthy Director General of Police J&K.

Pertinent to mention here that communication section of Police Headquarters published the DGP’s New Year Messge-2019 for police personnel in English, Urdu and Hindi, which was released yesterday.
