Ganderbal, March 09: Based on a specific information Police Station Ganderbal under the supervision of SSP Ganderbal shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal(JKPS) raided a gaming site at badrakund Ganderbal and apprehended six(06) Gamblers namely (01) Mushtaq Ahmed Munshi s/o Gulam Ahmed munshi r/o Ganai mohalla soura
(02) Mehraj-u-din Dar s/o Gulzar Ahmed Dar r/o Shahpora Baderkund
(03) Nazir Ahmed Sheikh s/o Mohammed yousuf Sheikh r/o khalil colony soura
(04)Mehraj-u-din Baba s/o Gulam Ahmed Baba r/o Nowhatta Srinagar
(05)Irshad Ahmed pandit s/o Gulam Rasool pandit r/o Ganai mohalla soura
(06)Mohammed Yaseen Najar s/o Abdul Salam Najar r/o Soura srinagar
and a stake money of rupees 51795 seized on the spot and six (06) Gamblers were arrested.
In this regard case Fir.No: 37/2019 u/s 13 of Gambling Act in P/S Ganderbal has been registered and investigation taken up.
General public has applauded this action of Police against social crimes.
