March 09: SP Pulwama Chandan Kohli (IPS) alongwith DFO Romshi Range Pulwama Shri Sheikh Mohd. Ayoub launched a special plantation drive in District Police Lines Pulwama by planting more than 150 saplings of different varieties.

On this occasion, ASP Pulwama, DySP DAR Pulwama, DySP (OPS) Pulwama, SDPO Litter, Ranger Shri Shakir Hussain Romshi Range and other officer were present.

Police on the occasion said that presently we are facing great threat of global warming which is very detrimental to our future. The plantation drive is an initiative to keep our Mother Earth green.

Police appealed the public in general that they should plant more and more trees around their houses and all other suitable places so that the pristine and pure natural environment is maintained
