Bandipora,07 June. Acting sternly against the menace of gambling inorder to to weed out this social crime from the society, Bandipora police received an information through credible sources
regarding the act of gambling taking place at Shadipora.

Acting swiftly on this information a Police party from PS-Sumbal led by SHO P/S Sumbal under the overall supervision of SDPO Sumbal raided the particular location & apprehended 07 gamblers. Stake money of Rs 4940 & playing cards were also seized from the site of gambling.

Investigation under relevant sections of Gambling Act has been initiated against the accused persons.
