Reports said that Police party from PP Nehru Market laid a Naka at Chuna Bhati WareHouse, Jammu. During Naka checking, one swift cae bearing regd. No Jk02BW/8384 was stopped for checking. The driver of the car was identified as Davinder Pal Singh, S/o Tirth Singh, R/o Digiana Pulli, Jammu and on search, 05 gram of Heroin was recovered from his possession. In relation to this, case FIR No. 159/2019 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been filed in PS Gandhinagar and investigation is underway.

In another case, a police party from PP Digiana laid a Naka at Digiana pulli Jammu. During Naka checking, two pedestrians in suspicious circumstances were stopped for checking. They were identified as Sunil Kumar @Sunny S/o Baldev Singh R/o H.no 1058 sector 08 Nanak Nagar Jammu and Ashwani Kumar @ Patti S/o Kamal Kumar R/o H.no 1051 sector 08 Nanak Nagar Jammu. On checking, 04 gms of Heroin was recovered from their possession. In relation to this, case FIR No 160/2019 u/s 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Gandhinagar and investigation is underway.
