Grand finale of Talent Hunt Singing competition-2019 "Choona Hai Aasman " held by Kishtwar police


Kishtwar, July 18: The Grand finale of J& K Polices talent hunt Competition "Choona Hai Aasman" was held by Kishtwar police at Govt. Higher Secondary School Boys Kishtwar.

At the outset of the programme Dysp DAR Sh. Iftkhar Ahmed welcome all the guests /Participants .

The competition had seen overwhelming response from the budding artists of the district.Both male & female participants belonging to different age groups participated in the competition by showcasing their talent in singing.

Army barigadier 9 Sec RR Sh. Vikram Bhan was chief guest on the occasion, who inaugurated the function accompanied Army, CAPF and other civil and Police officers. The participants after going through many eliminating rounds were selected for the finale.

The programme was adjudged by Experts namely Sh. Naseem-ul-Haq from Doda , Sh. Shanjeev Sharma from Kishtwar and Sh. Chandermohan Sharma from JNV School Kishtwar, and Madam Avni Sen Performed the duties of Anchor in the Programme..

Among categories of different age groups i.e 5-12 years, 13--18 years and 19--25 years judges Selected three best Singers from each category, who will perform at Range level Competition..
Cash rewards and trophies and Certificates were given to the winners and participants.

Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Sh Angrez Singh Rana described the talent hunt programme as a major initiative of Jammu and Kashmir Police to boost the morale of youngsters including singers and other artistes. Though job of the police was confined to law and order, they have done a marvelous job by devoting time for talent hunt and organizing programmes at various levels to boost morale of singers and other artistes.

*while speaking on the occusion the Senior Superintendent of Police Kishtwar Sh. Shakti K. pathak in his address described the talent hunt programme as major initiative of J&K police to boost the morale of youngesters of the district and providing them platform ,so that their hidden talent could get nursed in a right direction.
