July 23:``Acting tough against social crimes, Pulwama police have arrested 04 gamblers from a gambling site and seized stake money from the gamblers.

A police party from Police Station Litter raided a gambling site at SIDCO Lassipora following an input about gambling activities and apprehended 04 gamblers for gambling offences.

Officers have seized playing cards and stake money of ₹15000/- from the gamblers. They have been arrested and shifted to PS Litter where they remain in custody.

Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Litter and investigation has been initiated.

Persons found indulging in criminal activities shall be dealt as per law. Community members are requested to share information regarding the crimes in their neighbourhood with the local police units.```
