October 23:``During the Sports festival organized by J&K Police, matches of different games like cricket, volleyball, football, etc were played today at Sopore, Handwara and Ganderbal.

In Sopore, matches of volleyball, football and cricket were played. Volleyball matches were played between Silver Sports Hardushiva v/s Zaingeer Sports Muqam & Friends Club Dangerpora v/s Volleyball Club Chinkipora in which Silver Sports Hardushiva & Friends Club Dangerpora won their respective matches. Football matches were played between Starline Seer v/s FC Tarzoo & Chinar FC Rohama v/s Junior FC Watergam in which Starline Seer & Chinar FC Rohama won their respective matches. Similarly, cricket matches were played between Royal Strikers Sangrama v/s FCC Tarzoo, Zaloora Cricket Club v/s Putkha Cricket Club zaloora & Rawoocha Cricket Club v/s Watergam Cricket Club in which Royal Strikers Sangrama, Putkha Cricket Club zaloora & Watergam Cricket Club won their respective matches.

In Handwara, Cricket match was played between Sunrise sports Geeripora v/s Magam Reds in which Magam Reds won the match by 15 runs. Volleyball match was played between Sunrise Geeripora Magam v/s Iqbal Sports in which Sunrise Geeripora Magam won the match. Chess was played between Shahid Amin v/s Irshad Ahmad of Monarch High school in which Irshad Ahmad won the game. Similarly, Caroom Board was played in 3 tables. In table 01 of Govt Boys H.S School Magam, Fasil & Shahid Rasool v/s Danish Mumtaz & Ahtishan in which Fasil & Shahid Rasool won the match. In table 02 of Govt B.H.S.Handwara, Muneer Ahmad & Mehraj din v/s Rameez Ahmad & Hamid Nazir in which Rameez Ahmad & Hamid Nazir won the match. In table 3 of Boys H.S.S.Vilgam, Manzoor Ahmad & Aqib Rashid v/s Danish Rasool & Sahil Ahmad in which Manzoor Ahmad & Aqib Rashid won the match.

Besides, Martyr Altaf Memorial T-20 Police Premier Cricket League-2020 organised by Ganderbal Police on 8th Oct (Thursday) 2020 at Qamaria Stadium continued for the 16th day and two matches were played today.

First match was played between Blaster Ganderbal Bakura V/S Libra Legends Saloora. Libra Legends won the match by 47 runs and Irfan Was declared Man of the match for his 95 runs contribution of 60 balls.

Meanwhile second match was played between Spartan Cricket Club V/S DCAG. DCAG won the match by 8 wickets and Sayim Mustafa was declared Man of the match for his 51 runs knock of just 16 balls.```
