*October 25:* ```To express solidarity and to see the wellbeing of the families of police martyrs, Handwara Police in an initiative visited the families of various Police martyrs in the Police district.

ASP Handwara Shri Mashkoor Ahmad-JKPS accompanied by DySP DAR Handwara Shri Ab Raqeeb Malik-JKPS visited the families of martyrs’ at village Sarmarg and Zachaldara.

During interaction with martyrs’ families, visiting Police Officers listened their grievances patiently and assured them that their genuine problems will be taken up at appropriate level for timely redressal. Visiting officers emphasised on them to consider police department as a family and share their problems especially in case of exigencies.

Next of kin of the martyrs’ expressed satisfaction and hoped to further strengthen this bond.```
