November 21:Police in Awantipora have arrested two terrorist associates linked to proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad.

They have been identified as Bilal Ahmad Chopan resident of Wagad Tral and Mursaleen Bashir Sheikh resident of Chatlam Pampore.

As per the investigations, they were providing logistic support, shelter besides transporting of arms/ ammunition of the terrorists in Pampore & Tral area. They were also found involved in passing sensitive information to the terrorists of proscribed outfit JeM. Incriminating material have been recovered from their possession.

Cases vide FIR numbers 96/2020 and 90/2020 under relevant sections of law have been registered at PS Tral and PS Pampore respectively. Further investigation into the cases is in progress.```
