June 19:```Police in Kulgam have arrested an accused person for committing domestic violence from Zangalpora area of district Kulgam.

Today, a woman approached Police Station Devsar in a critical condition for assistance. Accordingly, a case FIR number 37/2021 under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Devsar and investigation was initiated.

Subsequently the said injured lady was sent to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment. In the mean time, a video was uploaded by the said lady on social media was also received by Kulgam Police.

During the course of investigation, a Police team headed by SHO PS Devsar under the supervision of DySP PC Kulgam was constituted and the husband of the said woman was arrested. The accused person has been shifted to police station where he remains in custody. Further investigation is in progress.```
