Kishtwar, August 15: The 76th Independence Day was celebrated with great fervour, gaiety & lots of patriotic enthusiasm at *Chowgan Ground Kishtwar.

Kishtwar Police, CRPF, CISF, Home Guards, NCC and other contingents of various school students participated in the Independence Day parade. The parade was commanded by Dy SP Vikram Singh.

*DDC Kishtwar Smt. Pooja Thakur was the Chief Guest at the occasion. The Chief Guest, accompanied by SSP Kishtwar Sh. Shafqat Hussain Batt-JKPS* unfurled the National Flag and took salute at the march past at Chowgan Ground Kishtwar.

A huge crowd assembled in the chowgan ground to witness the celebration of 76th Independence day.

At the conclusion of the event, prizes were distributed among the top three parade contingents and other participants.```
