November 07: Police in Budgam produced a chargesheet against 05 LeT terrorists accused in a terror incident case, in which one army personnel who was on leave was abducted & murdered at Lokipora Khag area of Budgam.

The accused terrorists include Athar Illahi Sheikh OGW of LeT (presently lodged in Kot Bilawal Jail) son of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh resident of Lokipora Khag, Mohammad Yousuf Dar @Kantroo (LeT Commander, now killed), Faisal Hafeez Dar (LeT terrorist, now Killed), Hilal Ahmad Sheikh @Hanzullah (LeT terrorist, now Killed) and Foreign Terrorist Ghazi Bhai @Pathan Bhai @Usman Bhai (LeT terrorist at Large).

Pertinent to mention here that on 10th March 2022, body of Army Jawan Mohammad Sameer Malla who was missing from 7th March was recovered from Village Labran Khag. During investigation of the case, one OGW Ather Illahi Sheikh was apprehended who upon questioning admitted that he along with other 04 accused terrorists of terror outfit LeT abducted Mohammad Sameer Malla and tortured him to death in an orchard at Labran village & later on buried the body of the victim in a ditch in nearby field. Among the 04 accused terrorists involved in the terror crime, 03 terrorists have been already neutralized in anti-terrorist operation in Malwa Kunzar, while as one foreign terrorist namely Ghazi Bhai is still at large.

The investigation thus conducted established the offences under section 364, 302,392, 201,149 IPC,16,18,19,20,38,39 ULA(P) Act against the above 05 accused and therefore the chargesheet was accordingly produced before Competent Court of law after obtaining the sanction from the competent authority.```
