Samba, Feb 10 : Bari Brahmana police under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana has arrested 02 hardcore criminals namely Bachan Lal and Lovely Kumar both son of Janak Raj R/O Smailpur Bari Brahmana.

Police has arrested these two accused in Case FIR No. 19/2024 U/S34/323/382 / 419 IPC and 4/25 Arms Act of Police Station Bari Brahmana.

Yesterday, an incident had come to light in which two persons had looted & attacked a victim in broad day light using sharp edged weapons. Police took immediate cognizance of same and a FIR was registered in PS Bari Brahmana. Police team immediately swung into action and by utilizing technology and Human-INT resources, nabbed both the involved criminals within three hours.

The arrested hardcore criminals have been identified as Bachan Lal and Lovely Kumar both Son of Janak Raj R/O Smailpur Bari Brahmana. It is pertinent to mention here that these accused have been arrested by a team consisting of SI Surinder Singh, PSI Nirmal Singh and PSI Vineet and led by SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana Inspr. Sumeet Sharma.

It is also informed that police has recovered two sharp edged weapons (1 khukri and 1 toka) , 1 police jacket , 1 army jacket and one police cap used in commission of offence. This arrest sends a strong signal to anti-social elements that, there will be absolutely zero tolerance for any criminal activity in Samba district.
