Continuing the drive against drug abuse launched by District Police Reasi, today Police party of P/S katra while conducting foot patrolling near railway station katra found one person namely Sudharshan Singh S/O Sunder Singh R/O Trintha, Reasi who was carrying a bag and moving suspiciously. During frisking of the said bag, *Heroine like substance (8.2 grams)* recovered from the possession of the said person.

On this, case FIR No. 46/2024 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Katra and investigation initiated to unearth the forward and backward linkages. The whole operation is led by *SHO Katra Nishant Gupta under the supervision of SDPO Katra Surinder Baloria and SP katra Vipin Chandran- JKPS.*
