Kathua, 16 Feb As a part of the Public Outreach Programme, on 16.02.2024 Thana Diwas was conducted in the jurisdictional area of P/S Malhar in which large number of respectable citizens,PRI's and general public including Sarpanches and other respectable persons of the Malhar as well as people from adjoining areas were actively participated.The meeting was chaired by SDPO Billawar accompained by SHO PS Malhar and other officers/ officials.During the meetings,participants raised some grievances of public importance and other general issues etc.They were patiently heard and were assured by chairing officer that their geniune grievances shall be addressed as soon as possible so that more and more conducive and peaceful environment can be created in the society.The aim of the meeting was to abridge the gap between public and police administration and to interact with the general public.

At the end of the meeting chairing officers thanked people for participating in the meeting and assured that such meetings shall be continued to be held more frequently in the near future.
