In order to assess the present security scenario and to work in coordinated manner by all security / sister intelligence agencies working in this District, SSP Doda, Shri. Javaid Iqbal-JKPS today on 16.02.2024, chaired a SMAC meeting at DPO Doda which was attended by the officers of District Police and other sister intelligence agencies working in the District.

All the officers present in the meeting shared their views, suggestions and assessment on the present security scenario of the District. A threadbare discussion was held on the present security situation and other aspects related to security and various suggestions, measures and strategies were taken to put in place for effective and efficient monitoring and security surveillance on ground.
SSP Doda exhorted upon the officers to ensure alertness and vigil in their areas and exercise effective surveillance and monitoring by way of intensifying patrolling, area domination with special focus on suspected /vulnerable areas. The officers were also advised to ensure effective surveillance on social media so that anti-social elements, rumor mongers, mischievous persons may not succeed to create any disturbance to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the District.
All the officers of District Police and intelligence agencies were advised to work in coordinated and synergized manner so that all the security agencies are on the same page to handle any kind of situation effectively.
