Kishtwar, Feb. 19: Cybercrime Investigation Unit of District Police Kishtwar has once again demonstrated its relentless commitment to combating cybercrime by successfully solving another case and recovering online defrauded funds totalling Rs. 35,000.

*In a statement issued by the SSP Kishtwar Shri Abdul Qayoom-JKPS* announced that their dedicated Cybercrime Investigation Unit had diligently pursued a case involving fraudulent activities, ultimately leading to the recovery of the online defrauded funds. A complaint was lodged by Tariq Hussain Tak reporting online fraudulent transactions of above said amount involving Jio SIM App. Through meticulous investigation revealed that the fund was transferred to various merchants like Reliance retailer, One Mobikwik & Pay Flipkart. During the course of investigation cybercrime investigation team led by PSI Amrinder Singh exhibited relentless determination and advance skills, ultimately leading to the successful recovery of the defrauded funds of Rs. 35000/-. This accomplishment underscores the unit's expertise, dedication, and tireless efforts in safeguarding citizens against digital threats.
