Jammu:29th March: On 26th March 2024, one lady Dali Kumar W/o Sushil Kumar R/o Hakkal, Jammu submitted an application against her husband namely Sushil Kumar R/O Hakkal, about domestic violence being faced by her, on which the enquiry was initiated, and was entrusted to ASI Kulbir Kour of Police Post Chatha, who recorded the statements of victim and other circumstantial witnesses.

As per statements recorded, offence were proved against the said person and case FIR No. 56/2024 U/S 498-A/494/504/506/120-B IPC was registered in P/S Satwari.
Further, suspecting fleeing of the said accused person from India to abroad, SSP Jammu issued Look Out Circular (LOC) against the said accused person, which was circulated to the Assistant Director, Bureau of Immigration, New Delhi to enable Jammu Police to nab him and produce him in the court of law.

Today, on 29th March 2024, the said accused person has been detained at IGIA, New Delhi while trying to flee from the country, and a team of Satwari Police Station has been mobilised to take his custody.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
