Kishtwar, March 31: District Police Kishtwar successfully recovered three stolen motorcycles, achieved through diligent investigation and swift action.

*SSP Kishtwar, Shri Abdul Qayoom-JKPS,* revealed that Police Station Kishtwar received three different applications reporting the theft of motorcycles from different locations. Subsequently, three cases FIR No. 82/2025 U/S 379 IPC, 83/2024 U/S 379 IPC, and 84/2024 U/S 379 IPC were registered, initiating a thorough investigation into the incidents.

*In response, three special teams were constituted, led by SHO PS Kishtwar, Insp Firdous Ahmed, under the supervision of Dy. SP Hqrs Kishtwar, Dr. Ishan Gupta-JKPS.* Through meticulous investigative work,use of the CCTV network established in the town and the cooperation of the community, several suspects were located and brought in for questioning. which led to the successful recovery of all three stolen motorcycles.

SSP Kishtwar also send a clear message to potential offenders: criminal activities will not be tolerated in Kishtwar. Our Police force is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of all community members, and we will not hesitate to take decisive action against those who choose to engage in unlawful behavior.

SSP Kishtwar express that the whole town is under CCTV coverage and the activities whatsoever going on are being minutely monitored 24x7 by specialize team constituted at CCTV surveillance unit of Kishtwar Police. He also appeals to General Public to report such incidents happening in their area so that culprits shall be booked under law.
