Continuing its special drive to tighten the noose of bootleggers, drug peddlers and other criminals ,Doda Police has recovered huge quantity of illicit liquor In Dharyouth area of Gandoh .
Giving details Doda Police said that based on a specific information regarding manufacturing of illicit liquor, a police team of Police Station Gandoh headed by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday assisted by PSI Parvez Ali raided the house of one Balwant Raj s/o Dina Nath R/O Dharyouth and during search, 05 Ltrs of illicit liquor, around 50 Ltrs of Lahan and apparatus was recovered from the spot.
In this connection, case FIR No. 20/2024 under relevant section under excise act has been registered at PS Gandoh and investigation started.
Doda Police has launched a special drive against bootleggers, drug smugglers, bovine smugglers and has reiterated the appeal to general pubic to cooperate and assist the police so that drug smuggling, manufacturing/selling of illicit liquor and other crime related activities are rooted out from the society and crime free atmosphere is built up.
