Wall Painting Competition with the theme Drug Awareness organised by Police Station Domana, Jammu

Jammu,12 April: Continuing its drive against drug menace under OPERATION SANJEEVANI, a Wall Painting competition was organised by Jammu Police in Police Station Domana under the close supervision of SP Rural Jammu Sh. Brijesh Sharma, SDPO Domana Sh. Mudassir Hussain and SHO PS Domana, Sh. Arun Prakash on the theme "DRUG AWARENESS" in which around 100 students from the adjoining Schools of the Domana area participated.

The drug abuse continues to pose a significant threat to individuals, families, and communities across the UT of J&K & to combat this threat and strengthen action and cooperation in achieving a world free of drug abuse,Jammu Police is on the fore-front including organising various drug awareness programmes.

The students who participated in this competition highlighted the challenges related to drug abuse and combating measures like prevention, education, treatment, and rehabilitation through their beautiful Paintings. The main objective/purpose of organizing Wall Painting competition is to create awareness among the general public as well as among the students who are future of the nation and will serve as ambassadors for prevention of DRUG ABUSE and other evils in the society.

It's a creative way to engage young minds in spreading awareness about the dangers of drugs and such activities not only foster community involvement but also help in prevention of crime and use of drugs among the youth.

Jammu police thanks the schools administration and especially the teachers and students who actively participated in this wall painting competition. All the items required for painting competition/refreshment for students were also provided by Police.

General public, School administration as well as students also appreciated the initiative taken by Domana Police for such a noble cause.
