DIG JSK Range, paid surprise visit to Police Station Domana


Jammu April 12: Dr. Sunil Gupta-IPS, DIG Jammu-Samba- Kathua, Range paid a surprise visit to Police Station Domana and conducted casual inspection of the Police Station.
He inspected the MHC Room, Malkhana and Hawalat. He also checked Mahila Desk Register, Cyber Register, NCR Register, etc., and found all the record well maintained. The premisis and surrounding area of Police Station also found neat and clean.

During the inspection, he instructed the SP Rural & SHO Police Station to maintain extra vigil in their area of responsibility in view of forthcoming Loksabha Elections.

He directed the SP Rural/SHO for redressal of public grievances in a time bound manner and special focus be given towards female complainants and complaints of females should be dealt by women staff of Police Station.

Special attention be given to the NDPS/Road Accident/Land dispute cases etc.

During inspection, 04 complainants were called randomly by putting the calls on speaker phone and were asked about their feed back regarding their experience and treatment given by the staff of Police Station Domana. All the complainants expressed that they received satisfactory response from the staff.

He also appreciated Police Station's staff for strictly complying the directions passed to them on anti drugs campaign launched by JSK Range. Police Station Domana has displayed anti drugs posters, paintings, etc., on walls of the Police Station.

He also directed all officers to ascertain the backward/forward linkages in all under investigation NDPS cases. They shall prepare the lists of Drug addicts, paddlers, smugglers and kingpins. The properties of Drug paddlers, smugglers and kingpins be identified and seized under law besides, demolition of immovable properties.

The Vehicles seized under operation Avtar have also been found kept in a systematical manner.

He also imparted necessary directions to SHO/Officers/officials of Police Station Domana for strengthening of Beat system of Police Station.

He rewarded ASI Ramesh Chander, MASI Domana and IC Women Help desk L/HC Parmeet kour of 500/- Rs cash reward each for maintaining proper record.
