Jammu,14: Jammu Police arrested two persons from Bishnah area and recovered one pistol with one live cartridge.

On 13.04.2024,a surprise naka was established on Ring road, Bishnah & during a routine check at approximately 1515 hrs, two individuals on a motorcycle, bearing Registration No. JK21J8706, who were coming from Vijaypur side, attempted to escape the checkpoint. Despite their attempt, the said persons were overpowered by alert naka party. Upon questioning, the said individuals were identified themselves as Rahul Dev R/o Harbans Lal R/o Khour Salaria,Ramgarh District Samba and Ravinder Kumar s/o Prem Chand R/o Rehal Kalandiran, Tehsil Bishnah.During the search of these persons,police recovered one pistol along with one live round.

On this instance,a case FIR No.41/2024 U/S 7/25 Arms act stands registered at police station Bishnah.

Further investigation is going on to expose the backward/forward link connected with this case.
