Samba, April 20: Samba Police has worked out a theft case registered at Police Station Vijaypur, arrested two accused and recovered stolen motorcycle from their possession.

On 17.04.2024, a written report was lodged at Police Station Vijaypur by one Munish Sharma S/o Manohar Lal R/o Garhi district Jammu, regarding theft of his motorcycle bearing registration No. JK02BC-2945 from Thandi Khui, Vijaypur.

Acting over the complaint, a case FIR No. 56/2024 U/S 379 IPC was registered at PS Vijaypur and investigation started.

During the course of investigation, police has arrested the two accused namely Ankush Choudhary @ Goli S/o Kasturi Lal R/o Bawa Colony tehsil Vijaypur and Sawan Majotra S/o Tejinder Singh R/o Vijaypur who upon sustained questioning confessed their involvement in the instant case. Further on their disclosure, stolen bike has been recovered from near AIIMS Vijaypur.
