The programme was attended by the officials and around 400 cadets of the academy.

During the awareness programme the participants were enlightened about the emerging cyber crime particularly bank frauds including bank/sim kyc fraud, part time job fraud, investment scams, courier delivery fraud, and social media related crime such as sextortion, impersonation,hacking of social media accounts and various others crime.

They were advised to take necessary precautions such as not attending unsolicited calls, verifying the credentials before making any transactions, not believing in freebies, securing their accounts with strong passwords and two-factor authentications etc. to prevent such frauds.

Besides they were advised to stay alert and disseminate further awareness related to cyber crime for its immediate prevention.
