Jammu,27 April: An information was recieved at IC Police Post Pallanwala through reliable sources that a person namely Parveen kumar S/O Yash Paul R/O Balli who is selling illicit liquor to the local inhabitants at Kharah. On this police party of PP Pallanwala led by ICPP raided the location and recovered 36 quarters of JK Special Whisky of 180 ml each from his possession.

In this regard cognisance taken U/S 48 (f) Excise Act and FIR stands registered in PS Khour.Further investigation of case is in progress.

General public has appreciated the swift action of police against bootlegger.
