May 5: A cricket tournament was organised by local club of Camp Gole Gujral,Jammu in which 16 teams have participated.Today the final match was played between Bahu Fort club and Junior Khalsa cricket club.Bahu Fort Club Won the tournament.SP Rural Jammu invited as the chief guest who emphasised the importance of sports in promoting a healthy lifestyle and deterring youth from drug abuse.

SP Brijesh Sharma-JKPS spoke at the event, highlighting the value of games and sports in keeping young people away from negative influences like drug addiction.He commended the efforts of the organizers for providing a positive outlet for the youth of Jammu.

*Jammu & Kashmir Police* fully endorsed such initiatives and contributing in formation of a more cohesive society. He further encouraged other community leaders and organisations to organise similar events that promote sports and a healthy lifestyle.

He further stressed that now youth can choose cricket as a career because the future of cricket looks promising, with innovations like T20 cricket, technological advancements, and growing interest globally.
