Jammu,08: Today on 08.05.2024,Dr. Vinod Kumar-IPS, SSP Jammu visited District Police Lines Jammu and conducted the inspection of MT fleet DPL Jammu and held detailed interaction with the drivers and other staff.

During inspection 23 of flying vehicles were found available besides Command vehicle, BP bunkers, CRT-407,water cannon,buses as well other HMV’s/LMV’s of MT fleet DPL Jammu.

SSP Jammu directed DySP DAR & MTO DPL to get all necessary repairs of vehicles done on priority.Concerned have been directed to replace all the dilapidated number plates with fresh ones at an earliest and be displayed in proper manner.

MTO DPL Jammu was directed to maintain all the relevant records properly and ensure the proper checking,maintenance,
cleanliness of vehicles.Also directed that Water Cannon/RIV (Rapid Intervention)vehicles shall remain in readiness, so that its service be utilized at the time of any exigency.
