DISTRICT POLICE KISHTWAR SUCCESSFULLY RECOVERS TWO MISSING MINOR BOYS FROM JAMMU RAILWAY STATION


Kishtwar, April 26: District Police Kishtwar has demonstrated exemplary dedication and professionalism in the recovery of two missing minor boys from Jammu railway station.

On April 20, 2024, District Police Kishtwar received a complaint from the parents of two minor boys, aged 14 and 15 years, residents of Kuchal Tehsil Mughalmaidan Chatroo, District Kishtwar. The boys had gone missing from their homes.

*After receiving the information, SSP Kishtwar, Sh. Abdul Qayoom-JKPS,* directed SHO PS Chatroo to lodge an FIR at PS Chatroo. He also constituted a special team led by SHO PS Chatroo, Insp. Vikram Parihar, and assisted by IC PP Mughalmaidan, PSI Rohit Kumar, under the supervision of Dy SP DAR, Sh. Sajjad Khan.

In this regard, case FIR No.16/2024 U/S 363 IPC was registered at PS Chatroo and investigation started.

The special team, through relentless efforts and leveraging technical and human resources, successfully traced both missing boys to the Jammu railway station.

Following protocols and in consultation with the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), both minor boys were reunited safely with their parents.
