Kathua Jan 12: Police Station Hiranagar in a prompt and decisive action under the supervision of Sh.Shridhar Patil IPS, SSP Kathua solved blind murder case within 24 hours of the incident.

In the early morning one person namely Herath Ram S/o Kartik Patel R/o Mirchad Chattisgarh A/P Dayalachak reported at Police Station Hiranagar that one of his family member spotted dead body of his brother namely Ved Ram in Tarnah Nallah behind Shivalik restaurant who was brutally murdered by some unknown persons in the intervening night of 11/12-01-2019.

Police after receiving the information registered FIR no. 07/2019 u/s 302 RPC and a police team headed by Sh Ravinder Singh SDPO Border alongwith Inspector Arvind Sambyal rushed to spot.Police team based on evidences and gathered informations regarding brutal murder, rounded up one suspect namely Arjun Sharma S/o Chaman lal R/o Pathwal Hiranagar who later on after sustained questioning confessed the crime and on his disclosure , Police team also recovered mobile handset and other items of the deceased.

Further investigation is going on to ascertain involvement of any other person and facts of the incident.
