March 03: Continuing its war against the drugs , Tangmarg Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered huge quantity of Charas from his possession.

Today, during Naka checking at Wahipora Tangmarg Police intercepted a man , who on seeing the police party tried to flee from the spot. On this, the deployed Police Party immediately swung into action and apprehended him. During search of the suspect huge quantity of contraband substance (Charas) was recovered. He was identified as Mohd Shafi Malik son of Ghulam Qadir Malik a resident of Kargam Palpora Budgam.

In this regard case FIR NO: 08/19, U/S 8/20 NDPS act was registered in Police Station Tangmarg and the investigation has been taken.
