March 04: With an aim to strengthen relations with public and to establish first hand contact with masses, Anantnag police organized police public meeting at Police Station Mattan.

The meeting was chaired by SHO PS Mattan. Large number of respectable citizens of Seer Hamdan & adjacent areas participated in the meeting. The main focus of the meeting was maintenance of peace & tranquillity in the area.

The participants highlighted various issues of public importance including many pertaining to the civil administration.

Participants thanked the police for sincere efforts to curb social crimes in the area & handling minor law & order issues with utmost restrain & planning.

Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants, SHO Mattan assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority.
