March 05: Police-public meeting was held at Police Station Karan Nagar in which members of Welfare Committee of Karan Nagar participated.

The meeting was chaired by the SDPO Shaheed Gunj accompanied by SHO Karan Nagar.

Various issues like drug menace, theft/burglary in the area, traffic jams, illegal encroachment of footpath shopkeepers/street vendors, cleaning/anti-encroachment drive, installation of CCTV Cameras in specific shopping malls & important locations.

The participants were assured that their genuine issues will be conveyed to concerned authorities for their redressal.

The participants assured to support police to curb social evils and for maintenance of peace and tranquility in the area.

The meeting concluded on a positive note.
