Srinagar, April 13: Continuing its drive against the drug peddlers, Srinagar Police recovered huge quantity of banned drugs and arrested 03 drug peddlers.

A police party from police station Karanagar under the supervision of SHO Karanagar Shri G M Rather during a surprise naka checking at Gole market today arrested three drug peddlers and recovered contraband substances.

Acting on a specific information,a party of Police Station Karanagar laid a naka and during the checking at Gole market,apprehended 03 person who were found roaming suspeciously.They were Stoped and asked for their identity and they disclosed their identity as
1. Riyaz Ahmad Guroo
S/o Mohd. Shaban Guroo,
2. Showkat Ahmad Bhat
S/o Mohd Amin Bhat
R/o Bemina and
3.Gh Mohd Bhat
S/ Gh Ahmad Bhat all residents of Bina Srinagar.

During their personal search the following drugs recovered from them
1. Temtadole-50 mg
17 Strips (170 Capsules),
2. Spasmoproxyvan-Plus
12 Strips (120 Capsules),3. Charas 100gms

Case FiR No. 18/19 U/S 8/20/21, of People/S K. Nager registered and investigation taken up.

In this connection case FIR 18/2019 U/S 8/20/22 NDPS Act stands registered in the Police Station Karanagar and investigation taken up.The Contraband was seized and accused arrested.
