Srinagar,15th July: Continuing its action against sociàal crimes,on 14.07.2019,a police team of Police Station Zadibal led by SHO Zadibal Shri Towseef Ahmad Lone under the supervision of SDPO Soura Shri Rameez Rashid Bhat-KPS on a reliable information raided a gaming site at New Colony Zadibal and apprehended 03 gamblers namely :-
1.Rafiq Ahmad Purza S/O Khalil Mohd R/o.Chandapora Habakadal
2)Javid Ahmad Dar S/O Mohd Amin Dar R/O Nai Sadak Habakadal and
03,Tariq Ahmad Yatoo S/O Ali Mohd R/O New Colony Zadibal


From the site Stake money Rs 50,100 and playing cards were seized on the spot and all the gamblers arrested.

In this connection case FIR No. 21/2019 U/s 13 Gambling Act stands registered and investigation taken up.

This is in continuation to efforts of Srinagar Police to curb the social crimes.

General public has applauded this police action.
