Kishtwar; March 04: Dy.SP Hqrs Kishtwar Shri Sunny Gupta JKPS Visited Daffodil Model High School Kishtwar, interacted with Students and briefed them about the ill effects of drug abuse. He also advised the school staff about their role and responsibility for prevention drug menace among student community. He appealed the Staff/Students of the School to keep eagle eye on those students who are indulging in consumption of narcotics and psychotropic substances and if they find any drug addict or drug peddler, they should inform the nearby Police for immediate action. The officer stressed that since the students are future of the Nation for which it is duty of their teachers to educate them about such a deadly menace which otherwise may lead to destruction of our coming generation. He also informed them about the steps being taken by the District Police Kishtwar to curb the menace, however effective cooperation was sought from the students and teachers for achieving the goal.

Further, the students were also briefed about the Road Safety Tips. They were advised to obey the Traffic Rules like use of crash Helmets while driving two wheeler, avoid using cell phone while driving , use of seat belt and crossing of road at Zebra Crossings etc to avoid road accidents. They were also advised not to drive without valid driving license.
