March 02:In the ongoing 1st phase of Covid-19 vaccination drive as started by the Union Health Ministry for Frontline Workers, Srinagar Police in collaboration with the Health Department started vaccination drive at DPO and DPL Srinagar.

The drive was aimed to vaccinate all police personnel who have been and are working actively as frontline workers for containing the Covid-19 pandemic.

While speaking on the occasion, SSP Srinagar advised all the police personnel to get their first shot of the COVID-19 Vaccine and avail this opportunity so that your body generates a strong immune response to the Covid virus and every Frontline Worker stays healthy in order to render his services in these tough times of pandemic. SSP Srinagar added that we are a responsible organization and we have to exhibit responsibility, dedication and commitment in safeguarding the life, property and honour of the public.

SSP Srinagar also took the first shot of COVID-19 Vaccine at District Police Lines Srinagar followed by other officers and officials of the district.```
