May 09:Police in Ganderbal have solved a burglary case by arresting one accused person involved in the commission of crime and recovered stolen property from his possession.

On 07/05/2022, Police Post Shadipora received a complaint from a shopkeeper Suhail Ahmad Lone son of Mohd Yousaf Lone resident of Batwina regarding burglary in his Cosmetics Shop at village Ganjipora Batwina. In this regard, a case vide FIR No.118/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered and investigation set into motion.

Accordingly, on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS, a special team led by incharge PP Shadipora under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Ganderbal Shri Ghulam Hassan-JKPS was constituted.

During the preliminary investigation, by using all available means and modern technical gadgets, the special team arrested one accused person from Tulmullah identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Parray @Jan Buel son of Nazir Ah resident of Tulmullah Ganderbal. When officers spoke to him they learnt about his involvement in the commission of crime. On his disclosure, 01 HP Laptop, 01 charging cable, 01 Power Bank and 01 Laptop bag were recovered from his possession. He has been shifted to police station where he remains in custody. Further investigation in the case is going on.
