June 22: Amid the inclement weather, Police have rescued 27 nomads in Shopian following distressed call.

Police Station Keller received a distressed call from the Nomads residing temporarily in tents at higher reaches of Kund Panjrikhal area of Keller Shopian, that they had stuck there due to inclement weather and there was apprehension of loss of life and property.

Acting swiftly, a special rescue team headed by SHO PS Keller assisted by SDRF personnel rescued all the trapped nomads and later shifted to safer places.

General public is requested not to venture out into such places which are full of risk and also all precautionary measures be taken in view of the inclement weather.```
