May 18:`Acting tough against anti-national elements, Police in Baramulla booked 03 persons under Public Safety Act for anti-national activities after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority.

The booked persons identified as Tawseef Ahmad Parray @Gasha son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Andergam Pattan, Ghulam Mohammad Lone @Gulla son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Lachipora Uri & Shahzad Ahmad Malik @Shad Ponz son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Singhpora Pattan have been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal jail Jammu.

Pertinent to mention here that many cases are registered against these persons for being their involvement in anti-national activities. Despite their involvement in many FIRs, they did not mend their way.

Consistent actions of Police against the criminals should reassure the community members that police is making all efforts to treat the anti-national elements in accordance to law.```
