April 16: Continuing its drive against wanted criminals, Police in Budgam has arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest from the last 25 years in case FIR No. 98/1999 under section 420,467 RPC of PS Budgam.

Warrant under section 512 CrPC was issued by Hon'ble Court Chief Judicial Magistrate Budgam against an accused person namely Ilyas Ahmad Mir son of Gh Hassan Mir resident of Katrasoo Kulgam was executed and was arrested by a special police team of PS Budgam. Subsequently, the arrested accused person was produced before the Hon’ble Court of Law.```
