Jammu,23 April: Today on 23.04.2024,in view of the General Parliamentary Election-2024,Phase-II scheduled to be held on 26.04.2024,SSP Jammu Dr.Vinod Kumar-IPS held strategic briefings of Police(including armed/IR nafri) and CAPF’s briefing at DPL Jammu & at RS Pura area.

SSP Jammu briefed the nafri regarding the imperative need for heightened vigilance and unwavering dedication in the conduct of smooth and transparent elections.

During the briefing, strategic directives were issued to enhance preparedness and foster seamless coordination among various security agencies. Emphasizing the proactive role of law enforcement, crucial guidelines were delineated to establish a robust security apparatus, tailored to address the unique challenges associated with the Parliamentary Election-2024.

SSP Jammu while amplifying awareness about security protocols,directed officers for garnering public cooperation for the smooth conduct of both the Parliamentary Election-2024

All the officers/officials of District Police,Armed/IR as well as CAPF’s who have been earmarked for GPE duty-2024 were briefed properly with regard to the duty they have to be performed. Moreover, they were directed that it is the most crucial and sensitive duty and must be performed in an absolutely impartial manner and also ensure that they must be polite but firm while performing their duties.
