JAMMU,April 23: Various route marches were conducted in the RS Pura and CHAKROHI,Suchetgarh area of Jammu District under the close supervion of SSP Jammu in the jurisdictions of PS R.S.Pura, & Border Police Post Chakroi

All the territorial officers including SP headquarters Jammu,SDPO RS PURA SHO RS PURA and IC BPP Chakrohi participated in the route march along with Jammu and Kashmir Armed police and CAPF officers/officials.

The Route marches are part of standard security measures to ensure safety and order during elections, and to instill in the voters a sense of confidence.

These marches help in familiarizing security personnel with the area and enhancing their readiness to handle any potential that may eventually arise, and to mitigate the security threats during the electoral process.

It is pertinent to mention that Headquarters zone has a length of more than 60 km International Border, and moreover these exercises helps in better understanding of the area and developing intelligence gathering, ine advance.

Visible presence of security forces through route marches can deter criminal elements and instill confidence among the public, encouraging greater participation.

Further these route marches facilitate coordination and teamwork, synergy among the forces, gathered from different wings.
