Kathua July 14 : In decisive action against drug menace, team of Police Post Mahanpur seized 2 grams of heroin and arrested drug peddler.

Team of Police Post Mahanpur during checking duty at Behni bridge apprehended a notorious drug peddler namely Surjeet Singh @ Sursuri S/o Mohan Singh R/o Ward no 4 Mahanpur and seized 2 grams of heroin in his illegal possession.

Police registered a case FIR no 33/19 u/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act against the accused.Further investigation is going on.

Kathua Police is striving hard and taking every step to aware general public especially youth to eradicate drug menace.We request people of the area to come forward and share any information about drug peddling or consumption and cooperate with Police for the cause to save the society.
